These two woke up at 4:00 AM to get ready for a Winter Session in 16 degree weather.  I will say the quietness of Big Cottonwood Canyon so early in the morning was simply unreal.  It had just snowed the night before and it looked like a winter wonderland.  Lauren braved the freezing cold without any complaints!

I’m  happy that one of these images was chosen to be on the front cover of WeddingSoEasy

These two…. I can’t even begin to tell you how lucky I feel to have met them and be their Photographer!

We did their session at Silver Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon.  We picked this location because this is where Tyson proposed to McKenzie!

We have laughed at every single session, they are so laid back and happy all the time. They just have one of those “feel good” relationships. You know that no matter what happens in life they will be okay! Especially when I make their wedding day blog post and tell you about the “unforseen” events of the day…. You’ll know exactly what I mean!

Sometimes you have couples like Chante and Clark that have so much chemistry you literally have to be forced to stop photographing them….in our case we ran out of light…Dang it!

These two are just beautiful together. The way they look at each other and hold each other….it’s eye candy for my camera! They met at an EFY dance when Chante tapped Clark on the shoulder and asked if she could sit by him. And then later he asked for her number. I love stories like that! You really just never know when you will meet the love of your life! I can’t wait for their wedding next month. She was so cute, she kept saying we needed to save some temple pictures for the wedding day when they had the “wedding day gleam” in their eyes! Can’t wait to see how much more magical that will make the pictures!

Talk about a seriously cute couple!!

Kelcie and Dakota were set up by some friends on a blind date and the rest is history.  She is such a beautiful bride.

I know I’ll probably get emails about her wedding dress….it was made by her Grandma.  Isn’t it beautiful?!

I love when couples decide to do a first look, I love capturing the Groom’s expression and even the Bride’s.

But what I REALLY love, is the butterflies and the anticipation they have as they are waiting to see each other!

We did their formal session at the Payson Temple.  And as usual always a privilege to work with the talented videographer, David Perry
